Terms of use
1. Using Aura
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, please use Aura with the knowledge of a parent or guardian. Your account is for you alone; keep your sign-in email secure. By using Aura you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
2. Not medical care, not an emergency service
Aura supports wellbeing. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is no substitute for a doctor, therapist or emergency help. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number (112 in India) straight away, or see help now.
3. Community guidelines
Rooms, Breath Ripples and Quiet Together stay gentle because everyone keeps to a few simple things:
- Be kind. Everyone here is having a real day.
- No hate about caste, religion, gender, sexuality or anything else.
- No sexual content, and nothing sexual involving anyone under 18, ever.
- Never share or ask for contact details or meet-ups, or anyone's age, school, city or photos.
- No selling or spam.
- Never encourage anyone to hurt themselves. Talking about how you feel is always okay.
4. Your content and our moderation
Your notes, voice notes and capsules are private and stay yours. For short reflections you post in a room, you give AKVega a limited licence to show them to people in that room and to keep them safe; they disappear with the room. We check reflections automatically and with people. We may hold, remove or restrict content or accounts that break these terms, and ban devices for serious or repeated harm. You can report, block or mute anyone. If you think a decision was wrong, write to the Grievance Officer; we will review it.
5. Aura Plus, skies, gifts and Stardust
Aura Plus is an optional subscription sold through the App Store or Google Play, with the price and any free period shown before you buy. It renews automatically until you cancel in your store's subscription settings, at least a day before renewal. Refunds follow the store's rules. Everything that helps you feel better stays free. Stardust comes only from gifts other people send; it has no cash value and can't be bought, sold, withdrawn or transferred.
6. Our service
We work to keep Aura available and safe, but we provide it "as is" and may change, pause or end features, especially rooms, to keep people safe. To the extent the law allows, AKVega is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (see how). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
8. Grievances, law and disputes
Grievance Officer: Kalyan Kumar Bedugam, akprojects1431@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 7 days, or sooner where the law requires. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
